Upon joining Lee & Associates, one of my early projects as a designer was to re-design the quarterly report template. This is a piece that must be completed four times a year (once for each quarter). It goes over a large amount of information that is relevant to commercial real estate brokers.

​

When redesigning this piece, I needed to create an accurate map of the New Jersey submarkets, design an all-new submarket snapshot page template, and reformat all pages to be able to fit a large amount of information. That was the most challenging aspect of this piece. It is a lot of information & graphs that needs to be conveyed as succinctly as possible.

As a commercial real estate firm, Lee & Associates - WBE, LLC would often require flyers showcasing the properties that were represented by the company's brokers. It was important to be able to convey the property's most important aspects, pertinent information, location, appearance, and broker contact information.

Sometimes additional pages were needed for various other information brokers wanted showcased, like racking plans, floorplans, additional photos, and more.

A broker opinion of value piece is a longer form piece of design work I would receive. Longer form pieces like this require me to demonstrate my attention to detail. I am given many graphs, charts, and individual pieces of information that must be translated over without any mistakes.

​

This is also very important as these pieces contain specific, important information about pricing, costs, competing properties, and our capabilities as a company. While the brokers are the faces of the company, we need to show that the company as a whole is something that potential and current clients can count on for flawless work,

While most of my projects at Lee & Associates require me to work within the company's graphic standards and colors, property brochures were often made for larger properties that required collaboration with other companies. 

​

In this case, we worked with "Darner & Sons Co." and used their company's color palette to design this brochure. I will oftentimes create more in-depth and time-intensive graphics for these types of pieces, such as the map on the back cover of this brochure spread. I will also work with drone photographers' images to trace out the property for easy viewing.

InSpades is a game design company established in 2024. They are currently creating their first game as a company and needed a logo. They needed a company name as well!

I worked with one of their employees to brainstorm names. Something they wanted to highlight was that they were reborn from another company & wanted to deliver a truly impactful game. I thought of the phrase "in spades", as in, giving something "in spades". They loved the idea & decided to use that!

​

From there, I created several iterations of logo design & color combinations, and they decided to go with the final logos on the left. The final logo incorporates a spade, infinity sign, mouse cursor, upward arrow, and game controller buttons.

SPACE Events is a high-end event venue. For parties and events, clients had a lot they could purchase from SPACE including: food for the event, custom decals, hype dancers, special entrances, table decor, entertainment, and more.

​

One of my many tasks at SPACE Events was to create "menus" to lay out all of these options to customers. Here, I am showing one of the food menus. This version contains two different footers that management wanted to choose between.

 

For this menu, it was important to include the small text indicating dietary preferences and prices on any "extra" food choices/stations as we did not want anyone surprised about price. We also wanted guests to be able to mark their choices in boxes.​​​

This is a different kind of menu for party add-ons offered by SPACE Events. The GRAPHICS made up the largest portion of my daily tasks. It was my job to meet clients, take them on tours of the building, go over all custom graphics options they could choose from, consult them on creating their custom logo, and work to create all the graphic pieces for them.

​

Customers often picked large amounts of these graphics, each with various sizes, various materials, and various vendors I needed to work with to have all graphics ordered & delivered on time. It required a very high amount of good task management, and I needed to be personable to work with the clients.
